Il adapte le roman de Mary Shelley, Frankenstein, sous la forme d'un cauchemar qui perturbe un scientifique qui avait trouvé la formule d'un liquide permettant de donner vie à des objets inanimés. Life Without Soul was a silent American horror film released in 1915, directed by Joseph W. Smiley. It was a retelling of the Mary Shelley novel Frankenstein and was the second film to adapt the story. Unfortunately the film is lost while only the plot, actors, producers and shooting locations have been made public.
