Voici donc un panorama non succint des interprétations artistiques de l'infâme créature et sa maman. Grendel is a character in the Anglo-Saxon epic poem Beowulf (AD 700–1000). Grendel is one of three antagonists, along with his mother and the dragon, all fighting against Beowulf. He's described as a creature of darkness, exiled from happiness and accursed of God, the destroyer and devourer of human kind.
